Coastal is looking for a Junior Developer to help support their continued growth. This role involves creating add-ons and extensions to software, enabling end-users to use Salesforce products more efficiently. The work entails programming and testing components using the Apex language and Salesforce APIs. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform and hands-on experience with basic system administration, security setup, and platform technical configuration.
Responsibilities
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce and support business requirements.
- Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages and Lightning Web Components.
- Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
- Work with integrated applications such as DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Mailchimp, etc.
- Testing (unit and component) and debugging.
- Follow coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
Requirements
- Salesforce platform knowledge and at least 3–6 months of Salesforce Administration experience.
- Self-starter, eager to learn and develop new technical skills on the Salesforce platform.
- Ability to collaborate with team members in a transparent environment.
- Familiarity with the systems development life cycle and software quality assurance.
- Must have full-time permanent US work authorization.
