About the Role

FantasyPros is hiring a Junior DevOps / AWS Cloud Engineer to help support and grow the cloud infrastructure behind FantasyPros and BettingPros, two of the most trusted brands in fantasy sports and sports betting. This is an ideal role for someone early in their DevOps or cloud career who wants hands-on experience with real production systems, mentorship from experienced engineers, and the opportunity to grow their skills in AWS, automation, and infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain multi-region AWS infrastructure.
• Assist with deploying applications across brands (PHP, Java, Python).
• Help manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automation to make deployments smoother.
• Follow security best practices and help manage access controls.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other engineers.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and runbooks.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Some experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to dig into issues.
• Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed.
• Clear communicator who works well with others.
