About the Role

BAE Systems is looking for a Junior Java Developer to support a software and systems modernization program. You will work in an agile team to design, build, deploy, and maintain applications across enterprise infrastructure that includes cloud services, data center servers, virtualized applications, and end-point devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Java applications in an agile team environment.
• Collaborate on modernization efforts across cloud, data center, and virtualized systems.
• Review and recommend test plans, then execute test cases.
• Support multiple software applications and deliver updates on schedule.
• Work across teams and methodologies to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT and software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring plus JavaScript and SQL.
• Experience in AWS/cloud and Windows environments.
• Previous full-stack development experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• US citizenship with ability to pass a background check.
