About the Role

As a Junior Developer at CEHAS Plan Administrators, you will help build, maintain, and enhance internal systems and applications. You will work with structured data, write and improve code, and support larger initiatives alongside senior developers while growing your technical skills in a modern, tool-assisted workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining internal applications and system integrations.
• Use AI-assisted tools to generate and validate solutions aligned with system requirements.
• Write, test, and debug code primarily using JavaScript.
• Support enhancements, bug fixes, and small feature development under guidance.
• Work with relational databases to query and update data using SQL.
• Manipulate and validate structured data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in root-cause analysis and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of programming concepts, especially JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience or comfort working with structured data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and technologies.
• Preferred: exposure to Git, APIs or system integrations, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Internship, coursework, or project experience in software development.
