Join a small engineering team building reliable, well-structured web apps and APIs for the financial services industry. Work on FastAPI services, backend admin tools, PDF generation, and large-scale data tasks.
Responsibilities
- Build, migrate and maintain backend services in Python (FastAPI).
- Contribute to software and product design, data flow, and UI behaviour.
- Work on web apps, APIs, PDF generation, web scraping, and integrations.
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to ship polished features.
- Write maintainable, secure, and testable code following best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least two object-oriented languages; Python preferred.
- Understanding of OOP, modern Python (3.10+ recommended).
- Familiarity with SQL databases, REST APIs, and Git.
- UK-based with right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- Keen learner with good communication and teamwork skills.
